BuzzWorthy: Sade - Moon and the Sky (remix)

 

So I was VERY surprised to hear Helen Folasade Adu Sade’s new remix of ‘Moon & the Sky,’ (originally on the ‘Soldier of Love’ album) with Jay –Z, on BlackMediaScoop.com this morning.  Why was I surprised you ask??! Well, mainly because in a 2010 LA Times interview, Sade said she has declined requests to sing along with Jay-Z and other MC’s in the past.  Maybe it’s different when he rhymes over her old stuff??!! IDK.  Anyway, “The Ultimate Collection” is a 2 disk set of MY Sade’s fave songs, and 3 new songs.  The collection is slated to drop May 3^rd & you can pre order it now (got mine!!!).  Sade will be on tour with Grammy award winning artist, John Legend,  starting  June 16^th in Baltimore, MD…& you can hear Sade & Jay over at BlackMediaScoop.com .  (who am I to give this song my stamp of approval on this one?!! I mean it’s Helen!!)

Earlier this week while perusing YouTube I came across a bit of ear candy for my people!! The song, Be Alone, is by an artist by the name of Childish Gambino. This track is dope and & this dude sounds like he's really talented artist......And a comedian And an actor!!!! He's better known as Donald Glover & he is soo freakin hilarious!!! You may know this cat from the NBC show, Community. And NOoO he isn't Danny Glover's Son!!! I give Childish Gambino my stamp of approval!!

Pusha T Speaks On Malice, Kanye, Pharrell & More

So I was previewing Pusha T's new album Fear of God...and I'm thinking this is another classic. This reminded me of a conversation with a guy frind about the other half of The Clipse, Malice...we wondered where he is? Turns out Malice released a book named “Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, and Naked.” Over at his website Malice says "Most importantly this book tells how my life was saved by the Lord Jesus Christ." Very interesting!!

Rock and Roll is alive and Hip Hop ain't dead!!!

While all you NightCrawlers were out Saturday night, I was at home watching Eminem and Lil Wayne's performance on Saturday Night Live! I was mesmerized, because I LOVE the live band! Rock and Roll is alive, and Hip Hop ain't dead!!! It was an awesome performance (give the drummer some <3)!! I missed the first performance, but I did post it here, as well as the second!! Part 1

Cee Lo and Chelsea Handler

I had heard about it, but I'm just catching up on the Chelsea Lately when CeeLo Green was on. Just too Funny. I wish I had seen this ALOT sooner!!
